Here’s our story about what happened to us on June 24th, the day the iPhone 4 was released when we tried to buy one from the Apple store.

How to post multiple images to Tumblr from your iPhone

This afternoon I took a few pics with my iPhone and I wanted to upload them directly to my Tumblr. Opening up my handy Tumblr app, I was quickly disappointed to find that I could only attach one photo. So I decided to pull up the site in Safari and was again let down. For some reason the mobile version of the site only allowed one photo as well! So I googled my problem and couldn’t find a decent solution. I was about to give up.

So I pulled open the dashboard on my desktop and saw that I could add multiple photos there and I was a bit confused. The big joy of having an app for Tumblr is that I can update the blog straight from the phone - right away, no computer required. After what seemed like an endless search, I discovered my answer - email. This help file explains that by going to the “Goodies” page, you can find the email address for posting to your blog and send a photoset very quickly that way. I’m quite happy with this solution as I really like Tumblr, but was really considering using Posterous in this case. I’m such a fan of Tumblr that I’ve actually started working on a few themes for it. I’ll announce something as soon as they’re ready. :)

I checked out the NBC Olympics iPhone app and my first reaction is “impressed.” I set up alerts to be push notified when my sport comes on, I cam read stories in the app without having to launch Safari (a pet peeve), and I can see scheduling of all the upcoming coverage. Only problem is, I don’t get NBC at home.
NBC has had a great opportunity to stream this content live, but refuses to put any primetime coverage online. I think this is going to hurt them in the long run. I would run to any online streaming provider with open arms (if you know any, please recommend). But if you have an iPhone, the app is worth checking out.
As a footnote, I want to add that Ryan Moser (twitter: @myanroser) and I are going to be doing more app reviews on YouTube, so if you have any requests, please let us know!

A fun review of the new social GPS app Waze. Everyone should check it out it’s on nearly every smartphone and it’s free!
